Can I drive with prism glasses?

Yes! While patients with double vision are often advised not to drive, if their diplopia can be controlled with prism glasses, they should have no trouble doing so safely.

What does it mean when you have prisms in your eyes?

Kaleidoscopic vision is most often caused by a type of migraine headache known as a visual or ocular migraine. A visual migraine occurs when nerve cells in the part of your brain responsible for vision begin firing erratically. It generally passes in 10 to 30 minutes.

Does double vision affect driving?

Driving is allowed if the diplopia can be controlled. This may be done with a prism (a special type of lens that bends light and brings the two images together) or by occluding one eye.

You should be able to see a lot better while driving with the distance script going up coupled with the prism addition. If you got AR coating on your glasses you should be ok driving at night.
