Do Timbrens actually work?

Timbrens incorporate AEON hollow rubber springs, which aid your existing leaf springs in the handling of rough road conditions. These rubber springs are reliable and quite effective as part of the improved performance of your vehicle suspension. They have been proving themselves for over 30 years with our customers.

What are jounce springs?

A jounce style suspension enhancement system such as Timbren’s # TFR350SDF is a hollow, rubber spring that becomes more rigid as more weight is added. These springs can level loads up to 8,600 pounds. Both types of systems will level out vehicle sag, help absorb shock, and help increase ride comfort while towing.

Do SumoSprings really work?

SumoSprings do help to maintain your truck’s level attitude, and enhance the ride and handling. While air springs are a good tool to balance a truck camper load, they are not nearly as necessary as they once were. We no longer have the great imbalances side to side and front to back.

How long do Timbrens last?

Timbren’s Aeon springs will neither rust nor will they leak. Indeed, many of Timbren’s Aeon springs are still going strong after 30 years of service. In fact, all SES kits come with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your truck. The number of Aeon springs found in each kit varies.

Are jounce bumpers and bump stoppers the same thing?

The jounce bumper. Commonly known as a “bump stop,” the jounce bumper was initially used to prevent the abrupt and harsh bottoming-out of the suspension when under full compression. Over the years this original design has changed and the jounce bumper has been integrated into the vehicle’s suspension design.

What is a timbren SES kit?

A Timbren SES kit is a rubber bumper that will replace your stock jounce bumper. The Timbren bumper will sit 1.5” above your axle when unloaded; this is to ensure that your vehicles unloaded ride is not affected and that you will maintain your factory ride.

How much weight can an air bag helper spring hold?

An Air Bag Helper Spring will install either inside your coil for coil sprung vehicles, or on the leaf or axle for leaf sprung vehicles. Once installed they can be inflated to provide up to 5000lbs of load leveling capacity, based on the type of air bag designed for your specific vehicle.

Are timbrens worth it?
