So, I decided to upgrade to a more robust scanner. Shamefully, as mechanically and optically excellent as the 6130Z is, Fujitsu provides zero (and I do mean zero) software support for the Mac, as if there are no small offices running Macs that could benefit from this excellent scanner. I knew this going in, so I was prepared for this shortcoming.
