Are the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x still a good buy in 2020? Yes, the ATH-M50x still have excellent sound quality that is up to today’s standards, and they’re lightweight and comfortable too. If you’re looking for a more affordable pair of studio headphones, the Sony MDR-7506 are a great alternative.

Is m30x good for gaming?
They are decent headphones for the price but they are not what I would call good for gaming, mainly because they are closed back. Closed back headphones don’t have great sound stage, meaning judging the direction and distance of sounds in game will be more difficult than it would be with a open or semi open headphone.

How flat is Ath-M50x?
ATH-M50 is not a flat headphone in fact it has a well balance frequency response. It is great for listening to all kind of music.
What is inside the Audio-Technica ath-m70x pouch?
Inside the pouch are three cables: a short straight cable, a long straight cable, and a coiled cable, complete with 1/4″ adapter. Unlike the ATH-M50x, the Audio-Technica ATH-M70x are only available in black. At least, for now.
