Does Boinc use GPU?
BOINC can correctly detect and use GPUs on Macs when running as a service or daemon.
Is 62c good for a GPU?
Dignified. 62 is completely fine. Some GPUs such as the 290x are actually intended to go up to 90c. 62 is within a good range for all GPUs.
Is 73c good for a GPU?
74* Is perfectly fine. I don’t like letting mine get above 80*, it tops out around 77* usually. Realistically it can go above 100* and be perfectly fine… just being above the boiling point scares me a little.
Is 1660ti a Pascal?
Knowing that NVIDIA has 1 million Pascal GPUs it seems quite likely that the GTX 1660 Ti was based on Pascal, although it could be a recycled Turing. These days the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti benchmarks are leaking. Yesterday we exclusively told that NVIDIA has approximately 1 million Pascal architecture GPUs.
How do I know if my BOINC is using my GPU?

What are BOINC credits used for?
Within the BOINC platform for volunteer computing, the BOINC Credit System helps volunteers keep track of how much CPU time they have donated to various projects. This ensures users are returning accurate results for both scientific and statistical reasons.
Is 67 too hot for GPU?
Yes it is. Normally, most GPUs can go as high as 9x° before starting to throttle or overheat. Your GPU can go as high as 97°( at maximum ), no problem there buddy with your current temp.
Is 60 GPU temp bad?
90 degrees is acceptable as GPUs can hit like 100 without destroying themselves, but I’d suggest downloading MSI Afterburner and going into the fan-speed dial, unchecking the little ‘Auto’ box, and then adjusting it to a higher %age.
Is 73 too hot for GPU?
Yes it is normal for GPU to reach 74 degrees Celsius, particularly when you are making it work heavily. In my case I can see that even without doing too much work, the temperature is normally around 50 degrees Celsius all the time. When occasionally run something more demanding it goes to around 70 C.
Is 84 too hot for GPU?
85 degrees is not an issue and should be fine under load. I would worry if you start to get close to 100c. To decrease the temps. increase airflow in your case.
