Take Bus #11 from Tai O (55 minutes ride/HK$12) to Tung Chung Metro station to board Metro back to Tsim Sha Tsui or HK Island. The last bus departs Tai O at 4:45PM.
How to get from Tai O to Tung Chung?
When we were leaving Tai O, it was more convenient to take a blue Lantau taxi back to the Tung Chung train (30 min and about $180-$200HKD). BIG BUDDHA & TAI O: An excellent (although long) day trip, is to get the Ngong Ping 360 cable car to Big Buddha first and then catch a taxi or bus to Tai O.
